"I've had positive experiences in the past with their customer service and their goods. Today as soon as I walked in I was greeted rudely, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and asked what types of concrete they have. Again rudely I was told that "we only have one kind". After purchase, their stock guy was great help. I get to the jobsite and half the bags had already set concrete in them! I love using small hometown businesses, but sadly I cannot see myself doing business with them in the future."

"I've always been one to support small businesses over big box stores. I initially liked Hopson lumber the first few times I went there. However, lately, the customer service has gone down hill. You are not greeted when you walk in, the will sit and watch you look for something instead of asking if you need help, and their prices are much higher. I wouldnt mind paying more for something to support the little guy, but when they cant even greet you when you walk in, says a lot about them as a company. I once sent my wife (who has never been there) to return something for me. When they ask how it was paid for, she said she didnt know. The unkind man behind the counter pointed to a credit card machine receipt and told her, "this little piece of paper tells me you are lying." This kind of attitude and service is unacceptable. I'd rather save money and go to Buchheit where they care about their customers."
