"It was a great Junior High school during my time period. We had great teachers and good coaches and other staff members.. I have GREAT memories about Atkins Junior High School. If I ever get back to Lubbock I intend to visit my junior high school. I attended Atkins Junior High School from 1962 through 1965. It’s has been awhile but I would like to see it once again. "This place has taught me everything that I needed to know. I know that it has a bad reputation of disrespect (the students), but I just ignore that. Edit (11/16/2017): I currently have straight A’s on my report card, which proves my point on how great this school is."

"They are horrible the principle is horrible most the teachers are horrible. Atkins jr high is the worst school by far. The allow bullying they allow disrespecting the teachers and the students defenitly run atkins jr high."
