"The store is BIG and clean and it’s got a lot of things but you can’t find help to find anything unless you walk all the way back up front of the store and wait in line for the cashier to help you and then he doesn’t always know where anything is, I can recommend this place but hopefully you know exactly where to go in the store and the exact name of the items you’re looking for, otherwise you could walk miles back-and-forth because there is no one else to be had except the cashier."
"Carmelita was extremely helpful when I called asking about a warranty repair on my Ego blower. Rather than just say, "We don't do that" or "Call Ego" she had several suggestions. Turns out, Ego had given me some bad information by telling me to bring it to Lowes where they provided no help. The answer is to bring Ego products, and others, for repair to Ready Repair on North Warson Road. More stores should have nice, caring people like Carmelita working for them!"
"Good luck trying to get these people to answer their phone. Called three times today to ask about a particular Stihl trimmer, was put on hold three times and finally got someone after waiting ten minutes on the third try. That person was helpful but please try and do better with the phone. Thanks"
"Best hardware stores around,you can always get help,will answer questions and go the extra mile. I miss these stores,wish there was more of them. I went to 2 big box places and wanted keys for my 9 year old grandaughter. She wanted princess and hello kitty and the gentleman cut them and made her day. I couldnt thank him enough. Ah the good old days of customer service and helpful employees!"
"Great prices, but I arrived at the store right at opening to pick up an order and have something cut to size (a service shown online and confirmed available the day before) and the woman called up to assist me was really unhappy to help, as was any other staff member. Everyone seemed frazzled, bothered, and uninterested. Had I not already bought my items I would have walked out."
