"Poor communication and poor service delivery provided by their Outside Sales Representatives. Steer away, use a local lumberyard or Menards. Our contractors needed material for a roof job, and they were given the run around with no quotes by the Outside Sales Representatives, etc. We had to involve our Architect since he recommended them for supplies to meet specifications. Over 30 days later we receive a formal quote (during the holiday season). Once contractor date/time was available, we paid for the material in full a week in advance and scheduled delivery for the contractor. Contractor called us on the scheduled day asking what time the delivery driver is going to arrive. We called over to their office, the person who answered was helpful, she told us that the delivery date was changed by someone who is out of the country on vacation. When asked about why no one notified us, she indicated the Outside Sales Representative should have notified us. What a shame."
"Purchased Rollex Stealth soffit and love the look of it but Rollex did not due their homework on the installation. Using a staple gun makes quick work of the install but in a 16" wide piece you'll use that staple gun once and hand nail 4 times. The groove is to narrow for the head of a staple gun. I talked to Rollex and they gave me a manufacturer of staple guns but none worked and I couldn't find any other gun that would work. There are a lot of bends in this product so I'm assuming that's why it's on the thinner side so watch the depth of your soffits (24" max) you may have to add a center support and hand nail into that. Overall I'm pleased with the product but if you're a contractor and have never used this product price accordingly. If you're a homeowner ask how much this will be compared to more conventional styles. The labor upcharge is probably substantial."
