"I bought a Trek FX4 from Dave and Perrish in early 2022; a few months before RAGBRAI. I told them I wanted a bike I wouldn’t have to work on bc I’m not a gear head. I can fix a chain and put air in my tires but that’s the extent of my experience. They sold me this bike and I’ve used it on two RABRAIs. No issues whatsoever except I had my chain slip off the crank set. I’d learned to hold down the rear derailleur, shift gears, and crank the pedal to fix that. The point is, I’ve put 1,800 miles on this bike on too long rides plus recreational use at home and it still rides quiet and smooth. Highly recommend seeing Dave at Bike World’s new location in the Millwork’s district in Dubuque."
