Red Wing - Davenport, IA

"My wife started her new job at Amazon, she told me how she was on her feet all day. I recommend the best boot I know of on the market. We went to the Red Wing store on 53rd st. Davenport, IA about 5pm. We arrived and were greeted very welcoming, with anything we would like to try or any questions we might have. We found a boot my wife liked. My wife asked for a size 8 wide. But the Red Wing store only had a size 8. Which would have worked, but the polite red wing employee said, they have a boot stretcher. She said we could try that and come back tomorrow. My wife agreed to do that. The next day we came back, it was a good thing we stretched it and waited. My wife is very happy with our purchase. She said they are the most comfortable boots, her feet don't hurt coming home after a 10 hour shift as before with her other boots. I recommend Red Wing boots very much. Won't buy anything else."

"I y'all don't know about the build and material quality & utility of Red Wing work boots, do inform yourselves. They are quite good. Moreover, most Red Wing employees in their stores are knowledgeable and helpful. I was at this location 13MAR2023 and the young lady who helped us (I forget her name. Dark hair, wore black Iron Rangers width EE.) was even better than most. After decades of work and decades of wearing Red Wings, I still learned a few things from her and her enthusiasm for her work was apparent. Buying from good salesfolks takes some of the sting out of the price, that is sure enough."

"Good products. Terrible service. I purchased a pair of boots. Almost 300 dollars. 4 months later I purchased two pairs of boots for my wife. Almost 300 dollars. In Nov my boots liner started to fall out. I went back to the store and asked if it was covered. The front desk lady said she'd talk to the boss and get back to me. 2 weeks went by and I heard nothing. Go back into the store. Again nothing. Owner called while I was in the store and I asked the front lady if she could just ask her if it was covered... She shushed me! "We will discuss it later". As if the owner wasn't supposed to know Needless to say I reached out to corporate office directly."
