"I wish I read these reviews before these people got my money. Liberty Mutual tends not to honor claims, and their standard practice appears to be canceling your policy if you file one. It seems they consistently discover reasons to deny claims. I filed a formal complaint against them with the BBB and I suggest every customer who they have wrong to come together to file a class action lawsuit against them"

"Worst company ever. Was dropped by them because of an 1 accident in three years. Then they said if a payment was due for September, that's considered coverage for the month of August. I was very confused and angry because I didn't know this. I will never do business with these scammers again"

"Garbage company that pretty soon will go bankrupt. I had one of my vehicles with them for a 18 months. The first 6 months was fine then they went up not by much so I said that's fine, but the third time they went up by $150 so I called and asked why this change since my record is clean and there was no incidents or any type of citations . The person who answered the phone said I don't understand why so she did put me on hold after a minute she comes back and her justification was that inflation is the reason why my insurance went up. A complete garbage company that now they will lose more business that they ever imagine. Good thing that I had to try them with only 1 vehicle."

"I was insured for over 3 years and paid all my premiums on time. I was dropped from the auto policy because there was one claim in 3 years of 491 dollars for windshield breakage. According to their explanation, you can not have such a claim within the first 2 years. This is interesting because many companies cover such claims for free. If a company can not cover a minor claim, would they cover a serious accident? This company is cheap but will not cover for claims and will drop you off if you did make one. So stay away from Liberty Mutual."

"Extremely difficult insurance agents to deal with. I was rear ended, and I just informed them as a courtesy they open the claim. The issued me a check for no reason. I returned the whole check. I had so many email communication with them regarding closing the claim. They assured me they will. On the renewal they charge me $2000 a year extra premium because of the accident claim which they put it on me. Very bad experience. Have had called him several times with no response. None of the representative seems to know what they are doing. When I called again today, they open the claim again now I can’t even switch to another insurance."
