"If I could give 10 stars, I would. I had never been to Mr. Jim's, but Joe Beckett over her saved the day for me. I was on the way to a work appointment when my car started smoking. Unsure of the cause, I pulled over at the Speedway across the street (Route 59, four lane highway). I popped my hood and saw fluid all over the engine compartment - oil or coolant, TBD. I ended up calling Mr. Jim's (exclusively due to proximity) and Joe offered to walk across 59 to come take a look at my car and confirm it was safe for me to drive over (it was determined to be a coolant leak). He offered the best route to get to the shop and I was on my way (engine overheating and all). The front of the shop was clean, the back area was organized, and I didn't feel unwelcome for a minute. They took my car in almost immediately after arrival and less than five hours later I received a call that the necessary parts were replaced, everything was cleaned up, and I could come grab my car. They absolutely could have gouged me (I was quite literally stranded) but I felt the price was fair for what needed to be done and they took great care of my vehicle. Making it to Mr. Jim's for regular maintenance would be a stretch for me (given that I live four towns over), but I would absolutely recommend them to anyone in the Warrenville/Naperville/Aurora area."
