"Beauty encapsulated today at the live oak cemetery where my family lays its heads for contemplation. Rain and cold weather did not deter the quiet poise and generous warmth with which I was welcomed into the resting place of the dead. I thank everyone who continues to visit the site and everyone who works to keep it simply divine. Thank you."

"From Farm Rd 1626; turn south onto Twin Creeks Rd; Live Oak Cemetery is just south of Twin Creeks; It's is on the east side across from a new housing project. Established in 1874, a well maintained cemetery of just over 15 acres. Live Oaks' 2 main entrances & perimeter fence are in excellent shape. Many oak & cedar trees, w/ thick shade in the older west-most portion of the grounds - scarce in the newer (east-most) rear portion of the grounds. Gravel thru roads, signage, & plot/headstone arrangement are attractive, well planned w/ a number of contemplation benches throughout. Markers are earnestly tended & some obviously oft visited. Both grass & trees are well mowed / trimmed. † Several visitors while I was there to call on my 10 yr-old son's grave, from 1994. † Ample roadside parking for graveside services, & several new burials. † Green county Live Oak Cemetery ⇨ sign out on Twin Creeks Rd. † According to Find•A•Grave there are 4,077 burials here. (April 2019)"

"Missing flowers & flag. I went out today 2/16/2019 to change out the flowers from Christmas 2018 and they are gone, so is the flag. Other grave markers have X-mas flowers still out, but why not mine? I paid about $20 for some pretty pointsetia flowers and was going to use them again for next year, but they are gone. So is the metal vase. WHO Did This? And Why? My heart is broken and I'm upset too. I don't have money to buy a new vase, so I cannot put out more flowers. I cannot find a phone number either to call the cemetery. This is wrong. My Dad is a WW II Vet and this is disrespectful for anyone to do without contacting the family!!!!"
