About the Business

The Historic Anderson Mill is a unique museum located in Volente, Texas. This working water powered Grist Mill and Museum offers visitors a glimpse into the past with its full scale replica water wheel that powers a grist mill for grinding cornmeal. The dedicated volunteers at Anderson Mill help maintain the old mill and host social gatherings and community activities. The institution is open to the public for free tours on the fourth Sunday of the month from March to October, from 2-5pm. For more information, contact 512-258-2613.
