"For me, the entire process from looking for items I'm interested in, previewing them before they go to auction, making items I want to watch is extremely easy through their app. Items I bid on in their app give me immediate information. If one of my bids is out bidder, I receive an instant, real time notification via email and text. I can quickly update my bid or not. Their staff is professional and easy to work with. They helped me set up specific options as to where lots I won were shipped. It's so easy that I'd encourage anyone choosing to participate to know you're budget limits going in and stick to them."

"Heritage Auctions (HA) is professional yet accessible. For the most part HA is at the very upper-end of auction houses; yet one can often find modestly priced lots of whatever collectible you're interested in, as well. For numismatic coins, one can build entire collection, over time, from the many auctions and lots available from HA. The photographic depictions are ultra-high quality. The descriptions of each coin are a blend of history, aesthetics, and information about the significane, provenance, or rarity of each lot presented. The 20% buyers' premium is, well, let me say, you never quite get fully inured to it. OTOH, HA is ultra-professional with outstanding items for auction, detailed descriptions of every lot, and top-notch customer service."

"Shipping times/prices are way too extreme. My first order was 5 days which seemed more than reasonable. My second order was 2 weeks but it was a bulky order. On this one I found out that I had no choice but let them charge me whatever they wanted for shipping since there are no options to pick up (even though I live a few miles away) and you can't pick your preferred shipping method since that would allow you to see the actual cost of shipping. All you get to see is the shipping price which you must pay regardless. In this case the shipping was as much as the purchase and if you add their "Buyer's Premium" fee it was way more. My third third and fourth orders have yet to arrive or had the shipping status updated on their site and we're going on 20 days. These 2 are small orders that would fit in an envelope so I don't know what the deal is. I'm not saying that Heritage is scamming people with their mandatory forced shipping but $300.00 & 2 weeks to ship 30 pounds 12 miles seems a bit much. I hate to say it since I gave them 1 star but I will probably make future purchases from them since I think I might be addicted to their auction format. I will update this post if anything changes."

"Always great service. Hate the 20% buyer's premium. Dislike it more then paying sales tax but Heritage does offer the best selection and all auction houses charge a premium. 10% or 12% would be nice. I haven't offered anything for auction yet but I have to wonder if the buyer's premium doesn't stifle the price you get for your item/s? It doesn't seem so since I'm typically outbid."

"Great experience! I'm a repeat customer and was a pain in the butt with regard to a recent purchase (a big one for me, a small one for Heritage) - the customer service was outstanding. Shannan really came through. A terrific marketplace for unique and rare items that you're not going to find anywhere else - and there are some amazing bargains to be had if you are knowledgeable and persistent (be informed, do your research!). I am also a long time buyer on other auction sites, but, in my experience, Heritage customer service really elevates the experience."
