Allstate says that the information I require needs to come from the agent. So I'm probably going to shop for another agent"

"(Disclaimer: This is my opinion based on my experience with Umer and Allstate) I had 3 houses and 2 cars insured by Umer (Allstate). I had been with them for years. In the beginning, he was great. Now he is never in the office when I call or visit in person. His staff changes so often that you can’t ever talk to the same person or develop a working relationship. He is great at selling but sucks at maintaining customer service. At one point, he had a great assistant named Joy. She was awesome but is no longer working there. Then, when I finally canceled all of my policies with him, I found out that I had not been insured on one of my cars for about 6 months! All along I thought I was “in good hands” but that was not true. As my agent, he should have had my back. He knew that all of my properties/cars were with him (Allstate), so when he noticed something odd he should have called me about it. What if I had gotten into a car accident?! I would not have been covered. Even to this day he has not returned my calls. I have called Allstate Customer Service and they are also difficult to deal with, but they are better than Umer. Umer, you should pay attention to your customers and not to your other business! Allstate, your commercial is a fake; I was not in good hands. I know that you guys are a billion dollar company so my business does not really matter to y'all, but if I can warn future customers so that they don’t have to go through what I did then I feel vindicated by writing this review."
