"I called and spoke to this company because my car was struck and totaled by a driver that was insured by this company. I spoke with a male, I don't remember his name. Unfortunately. This male tried to tell me since the accident took place in a parking lot, private property, that their insurance and my insurance would split the cost 50/50. I instructed him that he was wrong, we had a police report, and their customer was 100% at fault and that they would be paying for the repairs or issuing me a check for a totalled vehicle. The male then informed me that when the insurance adjuster calls me that I can tell them how to do their job since I already know what's going on. I promptly told him to drop his attitude and he just scoffed and said he had no attitude. Completely unprofessional. Fast forward to me talking to the insurance adjuster, she was completely polite and almost immediately agreed. It was 100% their customer's fault and I would have to pay nothing. Avoid this company."

"When I called to obtain insurance on two vehicles of mine and a vehicle for a friend, they were more than happy to work with me. Fast forward a year and a half or so. We have a claim on the friend’s vehicle. Claim was denied. When I called to speak with the agent about said claim to get some insight and/or help, he had his employee call me back. He would not give me two minutes of his time. Then today I call to cancel all of the policies and they could only help me on two of the policies (also not in my name) not the one I started and paid for in my friends name. I was short with the lady who answered the phone because they wouldn’t work with me yet when setting up the policies they had no problem working with me. They did not care that it was not the insured starting and paying for the policy but had to be the insured who cancelled said policy."

"To start, Mid Rivers Insurance seemed great. They saved us a lot of money up front. However, once they had our business, they didn't seem very eager to continue to service us. Any changes that needed to be made to the policies required us to follow up after the initial request in order for them to actually make the changes. Then, after an accident, our premiums went up (not their fault - I understand) beyond affordable. I asked to see if we could switch and I received a late response that pretty much attempted to guilt me into staying. Not that I didn't understand that the old company just paid a claim for me - but at the end of the day, it was unaffordable. After not hearing back from them in a timely fashion, I found my own car insurance. We still had our home and flood with them. After another agent had won my business about 8 months ago, I switched my home over as well, but kept my Flood insurance with Mid Rivers Insurance. Recently, it was uncovered that there are not current records passed 1 year of insurance - meaning we were uninsured for 2.5 years, and received no correspondence from Mid Rivers Insurance, including during the time that they were actively our agent. I've tried to call them recently to help uncover what happened. No one answers, or returns my messages. So, if you ever plan on making any changes to your policies, they may not be the agency for you."

He saved our family nearly $1,000 on our combined auto and home policies by searching out the best rates with the best companies for our insurance needs. (No small feat with two young drivers on our policy!)
