"For anyone who knew The Richmond Arms: As a long time patron of The Arms, I was eagerly awaiting this re-opening and excited when I drove by the other day and saw that it was open for business again. If this sounds like you, then I have to be the bearer of bad news...this is no longer anything remotely resembling a pub. While they put a lot of work into refurbishing both the deck and interior, they are clearly aiming for a different atmosphere. It begins with a $10 charge just to park in their lot. Inside, it is not a cozy pub feel, but rather a club/lounge vibe as you might find at a hotel with crushed velvet seats, glittery tiles on the bar and loud, pounding dance music. The final straw, they have no beer on draft and the only beer they could even offer was a bottle of Corona. A small part of me died as all of this hit me and I turned around to leave. Of course the $10 parking fee was non-refundable despite being there for less than 5 minutes. TLDR: If you are expecting The Arms 2.0, don't bother going. If you want a dance club with bottle service and don't care about beer selection, then you might enjoy this place."
