"A huge waste of time and money. Horrible communication. Dena was quick to get my deposit, but after 24 days had still not done one thing to plan our trip. This was March and the trip is in May. I asked for my deposit back. She refused. Then she threw together flight and hotel the next day that was out of our budget. I had given her one when we first spoke. When I added up the cost of the hotels/flight/insurance she had chosen the numbers didn’t match up. It was cheaper to book those things myself. So there was a lot of padding in that quote. Save yourself some stress (time and money) and do not use this person to plan your trip. I learned my lesson about not getting things in writing."
"I've waited years to travel to Italy and it's a shame Tiki Trips dropped the ball nearly every day on this trip. From the worst communication via email or text prior to the trip, messing up our 1st class air fare, being LATE to nearly every excursion, promising roof top dinner and sipping the night away, to finding out we had to pay EXTRa for even bottled water, to her not having a clue what each day would include, Having to pay transportation from the airport, cabs messed up nearly each time she booked them, would only text certain people in the group to give daily updates, talking about everyone in the group, being hateful and disrespectful of our time and not knowing Capri would be closed when we got there as well as having NO idea of the cute shops in Sorrento, I honestly see why there are no updated reviews anywhere. We paid her way and she enjoyed every bit of it while putting her clients second. We were never her first priority and for someone to say they have been to Florence too many times to count (charging $149 to be our personal tour guide) she had absolutely no idea all of the unique places to visit. What a joke."
