About the Business
Downwind Guide Service is a full-service Striper fishing and free-range hunting guide service located at 209 South Shady Shores Drive, Lake Dallas, Texas. Specializing in Striper fishing trips on Lake Texoma and hunting trips in Boswell, Oklahoma, we are currently booking trips for the upcoming hunting season. We welcome all groups, including children, and are happy to accommodate any special requests. Our experienced guide, Kevin McCullough, has over 15 years of professional fishing experience and has expanded his services to include Whitetail deer and hog hunts. Kimberely, another experienced guide, is also available for booking. Caleb, a passionate guide and bow hunter, is fantastic with kids and will be offering guided hog hunts as well. "As a fairly new boat owner and striper fisherman, I anxiously await Kevin's weekly fishing reports for some education. When I saw the post of his cancellation on 04/24/2021, I didn't even ask the boss first, I jumped on it. I told Kevin I was looking for fishing and education. "BEST GUIDE IN NORTH TEXAS!! This is a late review because I took my husband & my father fishing on father’s day weekend. Jason was our guide and he was excellent! He was very helpful & patient with every aspect of our fishing time. Booking our trip was so easy and Kimberly was very kind & knowledgeable. We chatted with the owner, Kevin after we finished fishing & he thanked us for our business which was the perfect conclusion to an awesome trip! "Oh my goodness I cannot say enough about Kevin, Kimberly and Downwind Guide Service. My boyfriend and I just got in from our first trip with Kevin and we will for sure be back! We caught so many fish we didn't even have time to think! Kevin was super friendly and explained everything to make us feel comfy. Highly highly recommend!!! UPDATE: We just went on our second trip with Kevin and once again he didn't disappoint! It was crazy hot with no clouds and no wind but Kevin was such a trooper and made sure our trip was awesome despite the horrible conditions. We've already planned out next trip for this fall!"
