"Although my experience at the Riu Republica in the D.R. was not one of the best of all my trips taken, it has NOTHING to do with DC Travel and Shanta my Travel Agent. She needs 10 *s. Even when problems arrived, and although she was traveling herself at the time, she took the time to reach out to me and the resort to try to rectify the situation. I met Shanta through a family friend, and it's going on 10 years that I've been using her. I told her from the beginning that as long as she's working, I'm traveling lol. She's opened my eyes to so much more when it comes to traveling. I've traveled places that I never even imagined traveling to. She's on the job from beginning, during, and the end. She's going to give you the do's and don't of the places you are traveling to. She's going to make sure you know all policies and rules and everything you need to have a safe and enjoyable time. And the best part is that she's well traveled. You want your travel agent to have been somewhere and not just sending you to places they know nothing about. I just love her. She's not only my Travel Agent, but she's now a great friend."
