CVS Pharmacy

"I changed to this pharmacy several years ago. Randy and Darren have always been wonderful. I know Randy has retired, and he is definitely missed. Darren always goes the extra mile which is much appreciated. I went in yesterday, 5/9/23, at around 635pm to pick up my prescription. There was a lady pharmacist and one pharmacy tech. I was the only person there. I was in the pick up area. Waited for a bit but not too bad. Finally, the tech comes around looking unhappy and bothered. No greeting. Just very blah and rude. Just got you’re here to pick up? Yes, gave her the information. She seemed perturbed that she had to get one of my prescriptions from the refrigerator. So much so that she swung her arm around causing her to drop my prescriptions on the floor. Then she was huffing and mumbling something under her breath when she had to pick up the prescription. She gave me the cost of one of the medications, and all I did was ask her if the coupon had been applied. All she said is that it was under my insurance. I asked her twice and for the same response. Finally, get to complete check out. My total was over $100. I don’t know what she did but she zeroed it out l, and I hadn’t even made the payment. I saw what looked to me two $5 coupons print out. She was huffing and puffing about this and finally got the pharmacist to help her. The pharmacist took care of it. They had to pull out a calculator to add up my scripts and charge me. I paid. She handed me the bag in a not so nice way. As I was walking away. I realized she didn’t give me my coupons. I literally took 2-3 steps. I backed up and asked her for my coupons. She had thrown them in the trash! She was upset that she was digging them out of the trash. She only gave me one. When i asked her for the other coupon, she said it was just a duplicate coupon. I asked her if she was sure, and she said yes. I asked her for her name. She said her name was Kay. I walked away but in my mind thinking, what the heck just happened? And upset about the other $5 coupon. That is wasted money. I’ve never seen her there before, but this was totally unacceptable and very unprofessional. I’ve never been treated this way at this pharmacy."

"This place has gone downhill. The lady pharmacist I had today wouldn't fill my prescription even though it was time for my refill because she didn't want to and didnt have to. She claimed it hadn't been 26 days which is the state requirement, then counted days on her phone, admitted it had been 26 and just told me she straight up wouldn't do it but I could get it filled tomorrow. Both the app and the automated system said it would be filled today. I am working on transferring all my prescriptions elsewhere if I have to deal with her rudeness again."

"Since Randy retired, and Darren is rarely there, it has gone to the dogs. When they were working there, it was a fantastic pharmacy. Today the touch machines you have to use to check out did not work. The worker was trying to check out a customer and answering phone calls (not good) they need more help. I am going to see if management gets this pharmacy back in working order or I am going to transfer my scripts to another."

"This CVS pharmacy inside Target has done me right filling my prescription for 9 years already. There was some issues when CVS took over but it all got cleared up. Darren and Randy are great pharmacists and do whatever they can to make sure customers are satisfied. Darren has gone out of his way multiple times when doctors office or insurance issues arose to make sure I had medication for a few days and didn't run out. They now have Erica who is the sweetest girl always smiling and happy. Erica is going to move up at Target as it's rare to find an employee always in a good mood and as helpful as she is."
