"After many visits to Holzlager Brewery, I can safely say this is a fantastic brewery and you won't be let down. It has been very easy to recommend Holzlager to my friends, family, and even my customers at the bank, for multiple reasons. The brews are fantastic and are very reasonably priced. The atmosphere created by the staff, including the owners, is relaxed and easy going. The seats aren't awkwardly placed like a lot of bars and there is a healthy amount of room to move around, from table to bar to bathroom. And one of the best, thought-out aspects is the fact that there is a dedicated spot to pay or even order drinks, so you don't have to awkwardly squeeze between people, or stand so close that you're breathing down someone's neck just to grab the bartender's attention. And outside of the live musicians/bands that Holzlager hosts, the music played over the ceiling speakers is at the perfect level, where it's not too loud to become a distraction, but loud enough to listen and enjoy. To top it off, the location is easily accessible with plenty of parking. If you're leaving late and feeling like you have to chill outside before driving, it's a well-lit area that doesn't feel unsafe at all. That being said, this is a great brewery with a welcoming, efficient experience."

"I don't know why it has taken me so long to visit this place after having a couple of their beer options "out in the wild" but I am regretting having not stopped sooner. Very clean, very friendly, and great selection of brews. Child friendly, bring your own food with plenty of close options to select from....really, I should have stopped in so much sooner."

"Holzlager brewing is a decent little Brewery. I was not quite sure what to expect. As it is located in a stripmall they don't have a lot of options for a large outdoor patio but they have two of the suites, one for brewing and the other for their tasting room. The beer selection was not my typical style. They had several IPAs and Wheats. Their triple IPA was good, their Octoberfest was decent, and the BBA Imperial stout was super boozy. The bartender was friendly and liked talking about their beer."

"The premier brewery of Woodstock. The taproom is beautiful, family friendly, and full of a variety of well crafted beers. The synergy with its neighbor restaurants is admirable, offering patrons the option of quality pizza and tacos to pair well with their brews. Outdoor seating is well shaded and especially welcome in this season of kind weather and the priority to enjoy time together, yet at a distance."

"Had a great first time experience! I've been looking forward for this place to open ever since I saw their sign in the window months ago. I walked into the taproom and it was open and spacious with plenty of seats at the bar. Thursday night football was on one of the two big screen TV's that I saw. The bartender greeted me, answered my questions about the beer menu, and then promptly poured me my Pale Ale in the howler I ordered (which was branded for their brewery). While he was pouring, I took some time to look around. There appeared to be plenty of tables that could handle a pretty good rush of people. I would love to bring a group of friends here for a couple rounds of drinks! My beer was tasty, I would definitely be back. Highly recommend!"
