Costco Pharmacy

"Went in to get a booster Covid shot and my kid’s initial a few days ago. Staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. My kid was apprehensive about needles and the Technician (Meredith) did a great job not making it a traumatic experience. We waited our 15 min to make sure no side effects. While we waited I watched the Pharmacy Staff at the register handle a variety of people from all ages, nationalities, etc. All interactions I witnessed were very calm, professional and courteous. All employees had a mask and they were wearing it above their nose properly. I shop here a lot and know the other staff in other departments to be of high caliber as well. However, I don’t have much interaction with the pharmacy on my visits. So I wanted to drop a comment as they made a great impression during my visit."

"Very disappointed as my doctor's nurse called in (and spoke to a staff member) several meds to help with COVID yesterday. On numerous calls the staff assured me they didn't have any prescriptions for me. Later Walgreens came through and my husband was able to pick up meds just before they closed. Now, this afternoon I get text messages from Costco that 2 meds are ready. Such poor disconnect in this pharmacy."

"I get my own prescriptions and my dogs' prescriptions filled at Costco. The staff is fast and courteous. I have not had any issues with delays or long waits. Online refill or phone refill requests are fast and easy. You are given a target delivery and asked if it is needed earlier. And the prices are the best around! I highly recommend Costco pharmacy."

"I've never posted a review, ever. But, I have to say that Costco Pharmacy is the worst. They have had to order the last 4 medications my doctor prescribed. These are standard meds for blood pressure and cholesterol that are prescribed routinely, and any pharmacy should always have them in stock. And even when they don't have the meds in stock, they still run the prescription through insurance, which makes getting prescriptions filled elsewhere a major hassle. Definitely not worth the trouble."

"I have been taking blood pressure medication for the last 20 years and I was getting prescription refilled at Costco pharmacy in Southlake for the last 6 or 7 years. My prescription was always been for 90 days. I made a request through automated refill line and got a text after few days after it is ready for pick up. My wife was shopping at Costco today and she picked up the prescription at my request. I just came to know that the prescription was filled for 30 days only and not 90 days although the previous prescription had it for 90 days. The pharmacist says the dr's office authorized this prescription only for 30 days, therefore it is filled for 30 days. No one called me to inform this other than the text saying it is filled. Therefore, I assumed that the refill was for 90 days. This happened to me twice in the last 2 years and no one takes the responsibility. 30 day supply costs100 % more per tablet than the 90 day supply. Costco in general provides a great service but their Pharmacy staff especially the techs service is poor and below par. S Manne"
