"As I read these reviews, I was apprehensive to sell my items. My co worker told me about this store. I did not have a bad experience at all. The staff was very friendly and explained everything to me. Yes, they want your items contained in a Rubbermaid container. Bags tend to rip and your items may get lost. I sold my baby Graco Smooth My Way swing. They did it on the spot. My clothing I have to wait on. I will receive a call once they're done going through it. They looked up my swing to see what its currently selling for brand new. The lady behind the counter said she would sell it at $100 and I would get $50. I believe that was a fair price. I certainly don't think I would get $50 at a garage sale. I actually took the $50 in a store credit and received 20% more. I bought my 12 month old clothes with the store credit. I saved $ and I must mention, the bathrooms are very clean! Overall, I really like this place and will continue to shop and sell my items."

"I enjoy coming in to sell our old baby items at this location. Feels good to clean out! I was shocked when they said 5 days to wait, but took a look around and saw they were slammed! So I understood! One thing I was impressed with was how efficiently they were moving! Nothing but hussle mode! And not to mention their pleasant voices and smiling faces! And for that they deserve 5 stars!"

"My family loves this store. With 3 kids, you can't beat the prices. Kids grow so quick! It's disappointing to read such harsh reviews, because I have never experienced this. I guess we all have a choice to stop going some place if we truly don't like it, right? Staff is always smiling and quick to answer our questions. LOVE THAT, about a company. I also love when they do that $1.00 sale on clearance! Overall I recommend, because the concept of the store is just great and they appear to truly care!"

"I always enjoy coming to the store and getting my kids what they need clothes, toys, furniture, and able to sell it back in these hard times especially when they barely wear it because they grow up so fast highly recommend this store. It’s one of the best places to get kids clothes. The variety of brands is unbelievable and amazing everywhere. I love there’s always something for my daughter and for my son and I always come in with happy, smiling faces 10 out of 10 customer service will be coming here all the time!"

"MY ADVICE TO ALL NEW PATRONS WILLING TO MAKE THE TRIP TO THIS FANTASTIC STORE IS CALL BEFORE YOU GO SO YOU ARE INSTRUCTED ON THE PROTOCOL OF SELLING AND BUYING. It's unfortunate to see all the negative reviews about the Naperville Once Upon a Child location. I've always had good experiences with them, selling and purchasing clothes. The store is always in good order and they handle seasonal items (Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas clothing) very well and give those items a designated location so you can shop easily. There are times , usually weekends and the beginning of the week, where bins get stocked up near the front by the door because so many patrons have dropped off items , THAT IS EXPECTED. There is also a mass text that goes out to all patrons when a specific store is backed up and isn't accepting bins for a few days due to an overwhelming amount of drop-offs WHICH EMPLOYEES HAVE TO GO THROUGH PIECE BY PIECE TO MAKE SURE ALL IS IN WORKING ORDER AND GENTLY USED SO YOU , THE BUYER, DONT TAKE HOME A JUNK ITEM. You will find strollers, bassinets, walkers, toys, board games, name brand clothing, boots, etc. for insanely low prices. I highly recommend a trip out to this store. I would also like to give a shot out to all the employees of this shop. They are always kind on the phone and in person. They are also working as fast as possible to get those bargains out on the floor so you can snatch them up. Thank you ladies!!!"
