DHR Health Urgent Care

"Two days in a row I had to come here both within just a couple hours after them being open, I waited the first day for 2 hours from 1030 to 1230, and had to leave to go to work, they called in people that signed in after me, before me!, and they called several names that were no longer there because I'm guessing that they left because of the wait. Then, when I show the 2nd day in a row same time, I wait 1 hour to be seen, they tell me I have to wait for two hours for some reason, I have never waited two hours in any medical facility, im currently still waiting, they keep calling in ppl that arrived after me, but i was told this was walk in only, no appointments, this is ridiculous!! If I could give zero stars I would, so disappointing to see other elderly people here also waiting, wasting their day, I'd be surprised if they actually service more than 10 ppl per day"

"My wife went to get a sprained ankle checked out back in July. At the time we did not have insurance, which we told the receptionist at the beginning of the appointment. Completing the exam they determined the ankle was sprained and not broken and recommended a boot to allow for healing. The cost they told us would be $20 extra, which we paid. 3 months later we get a letter telling us we owe over $180 for the boot. We called the office as well as the company who were sending us the bill for the boot. The office denied ever telling us that the cost would be $20, but then said it was a mistake of incompetence when we proved that they had indeed charged $20 extra on top of the $160 for the exam. They claimed to refund us the $20 at the beginning of December. To avoid being sent to collections we paid the third party company for the boot. We still have not seen the $20 refund to our account, and are still trying to get ahold of the internal billing department. Service was good, but are extremely disappointed to be lied to, and still have yet to receive the money that should never have been charged."

"I took my son for a foot injury and FNP Garza and Oscar the X-ray tech were very gentle and helpful with my son. They made him feel comfortable and safe. Loved our visit and will be coming in again :)"

"We all hope we never need urgent care, but I am so grateful for this DHR Health Urgent Care because, last night, I did. I injured my foot to the extent I could not even stand. From the moment I went in and was greeted by the receptionist, I felt well cared for, respected, and handled with care. Knowing I was in pain, she even walked out to the lobby to have me sign papers rather than calling me up to the window. The nurse, Yvette P., is so friendly and efficient. She truly helped me relax. (She even fixed the handlebar on my friend's scooter I was using!) The nurse practitioner, Elena O., is excellent. She has a very calm and friendly nature. She listened intently, observed and examined, and ordered x-rays. That's where I met the next DHR Health rock star, Oscar V. I don't think I've ever met an x-ray tech who worked so hard to make sure I was comfortable while, at the same time, making sure the x-rays were done with precision. Elena did not find a break but ordered a splint (expertly made by OSCAR!) for me to wear for a couple of days and while I await the official diagnosis from the radiologist today. As a retired teacher, I have to watch every penny, so I was very relieved at the cost for services, too! I HIGHLY recommend DHR Health Urgent Care."
