Portillo's Tinley Park

"This Portillos is located in Tinley Park. I've been here numerous times and have went through the drive through and dined in and ate. The drive through is usually very long but my most recent experience was Sunday around 11 AM and there was no wait at all in the drive through. I gave my order and paid and pulled up to the window and waited. It took a little while to get my food. I ordered a single cheeseburger with everything minus the mayo and ketchup. I also got a large order of fries and a piece of chocolate cake. I hadn't ordered a burger from here in awhile so I thought I would mix it up and get one as I usually get a hotdog with everything or a beef sandwich. The cheeseburger was disappointing it was small and the bun overwhelmed it. The toppings were scant and the piece of lettuce was wilty too. The large fry was also lacking this visit. Usually when I get an order of fries here no matter what size, the box is overflowing with long, fresh hot fries. Not this time, the fries I got were mainly all the bottom scraps that were the hard small ends except for a few long fries and the box was not overflowing let alone completely full. The chocolate cake still tasted the same and good and moist as usual. However, I did notice they gave a smaller size portion of cake than they used to give and of course charge more for it. I think my total was around $18 plus tax for these 3 items and really not worth it. In the past Portillos was my go to place for fast food items like hotdogs, beef, and the like but I may have to reconsider based on my most recent visit..."

"I visited this restaurant at 10:30 PM, expecting a pleasant late-night meal. However, I was met with disappointment. Firstly, the burger I ordered arrived surprisingly cold, lacking the freshness I anticipated. More concerning was the state of cleanliness. The front area was littered with garbage, significantly detracting from the dining atmosphere. Upon noticing this, I felt compelled to inform a staff member. Rather than receiving an apology or prompt action, I encountered a dismissive attitude. The staff's response to my request for cleaning was not only unprofessional but also conveyed a lack of customer care. This experience has unfortunately tainted my view of the establishment. The combination of poor food quality and inadequate customer service, particularly in handling feedback, leaves much to be desired. As a result, I've made the decision not to return for future dining. It's disheartening, as I believe every patron deserves a clean environment and warm service, regardless of the time of their visit."

"Always a great experience. The food is phenomenal. Maybe their prices have gone up it was a little expensive for a hot dog. Service was slower than I remember. We waited about 13 minutes to get our hot dog with fries."

"I just ordered through Grubhub. Italian beef and small cheese fries. The fry container was less than half full with a big container of cheese. Did not get what I paid for as far as the fries."

"The food from this place is amazing and worth the wait. The burgers, sandwiches, sauces and fries are great. Would definitely recommend and tell anyone to try it. Will definitely come back for more and to try what i haven't before. Only thing I was disappointed by was they forgot my onion rings and cheese sauce for the fries."
