"We were looking for something close for a little weeknight celebration and decided on Maevery Public House. A great location, fantastic atmosphere and simple but elegant menu selection. Our server "Laura M" was second to none, engaging and happy to suggest/recommend. Started off with some bubbly and a crab cake. Graduated to the BBQ Ribs and a Pork Chop along with a Pike Road Pinot Noir (really enhanced the BBQ flavor). The night ended with some of the best bread pudding every. So happy with our choice Tuesday evening to stop at Maevery and we are confident that this will go into our rotation of restaurants we enjoy frequently."
"I came in solo had a beer, dinner, and dessert. The BBQ pork sandwich was very good. The flaming pecan bread pudding was delicious!! Laura was my server and did excellent. She chose the meal for me and I couldn’t have been happier with her service."
"The atmosphere of the restaurant is cozy, lively, and aesthetically pleasing. The food is really tasty especially the fish and chips and the Berkshire pork shank. The brunch is also delicious and the mimosas are well made. There is a good selection of cocktails and overall they are pretty good. However, for the price I was left wanting. Most of the time I have had great experience with the staff being attentive, helpful, and friendly. The community it is located in is beautiful and has a wonderful park right across from the restaurant where events and folk can always be found enjoying the space."
"I went in the afternoon and they weren't that busy. We had a reservation and everything was lovely at first. Good service at the start and good drinks... Until we noticed the menus were double printed with the front on both sides... Then I order the salmon, the first part was fine, until I got to the half way part and realized half of it was very under cooked. The staff takes it back and gets me a new one.... Also under cooked. Like the center was slimy, and did not flake at all. Well, I send it back and just tell them it's fine. But I'm not eating it. Bill comes out and they charge me for it, until I point it out. The server snatched the receipt from my friend's hand and you could tell she was over it. I felt dreadful, but I'm not going to risk eating salmon that's under cooked either. It was really unfortunate because the place was very cute and everyone else enjoyed their food. I will say the steak was good, and a friend gave me some of hers. But avoid the salmon."
