"We moved to Lake Bluff last year and I'm sad that we didn't try this place sooner. I'd consider myself an Italian Beef Connoisseur, so I don't say this lightly. Their beef sandwich is probably in the top 5 I've ever had. Gravy is perfect and a tad on the spicy side, which I love. Also had a combo a week later. Sausage is nice and firm, not fatty. SO DELICIOUS! Also, their fries are top notch, hot and delicious."

"I kept driving past this place while working and decided to stop. I give this place a four not because the food was amazing but because of price point and atmosphere. The pizza was thin crust and I would say so so for taste because it looked like it had sat for a while but I did like that it was not overly saucy and was large so I only needed to eat one. Not having much sauce was nice because I hate getting it on work clothes. The piece of pizza was like $4.07 and they offer small courtesy water cups so I didn't need to purchase a drink, this is great price for something to tie you over. The menu is big, so I wonder what the other items are like. Next time I'll try the gyro. They have plenty of parking and outdoor seating with umbrellas too."

"A great place with a winning menu. Family friendly and super tasty food with large portions. I recommend that you try the specials that include fries and drink. We had the 2 hot dogs and the Italian beef. Somehow it was too much good food. But yet we took a homemade meatball and a skirt steak sandwich to go. This is one of those rare finds that is tasty, bountiful, quick and family friendly. Also very clean and attentive staff. You can hear them all working on your orders as they are being called out. I will definitely be back whenever I am in this part of North Chicago."
