"Try either of the hot dogs. My favorite was the Whoopskidawg. My husband liked the Superdawg better. Great place for trying authentic Chicago food and the history is great and atmosphere was so fun! We tried 2 types of beer also and they were very good with the dogs. Oh and a chocolate malt for dessert was nice to take on a walk by the river behind the restaurant."

"Cool place to visit. I assume they still have carhops in warm weather but I'll have to wait and see. Not the friendliest staff but this is the Chicago burbs, not the south. You could say that they were Chicago friendly I reckon. They have a good variety of menu options, including Superdawg Beer. Prices aren't bad unless you substitute onion chips for fries. I paid $18 for double burger, onions, and large drink. Ouch. My Whooperburger fresh and delicious. Same toppings as a Superdawg, including neon green relish, sport peppers, and a pickle. This is a five star burger. The Superchips were just OK. Not enough onion flavor to me. Sweet tea was really good, even for a southern boy. Thumbs up there."

"We waited 20 min for our food and the fries were so old and gross. The thing is we tried this place six years ago when we moved in and it was nasty, decided to give it another shot and it’s still just as gross. I’ve had better fries from the grocery store than these soggy burnt orange fries. What a waste of 50$"

"I have been a fan of the original Superdawg on Milwaukee and Devon for decades. I was hopeful this location would meet my expectations and was pleased that they did. My favorite Whoopskidawg was delicious prepared their traditional special sauce (BBQ) on an onion roll and grilled onions - I cannot recommend this enough. We tried the Whoopercheesie ( a double cheese burger) and a Superdawg. It was a wonderful fall day, and we were able to take advantage of the ample outdoor seating."
