"Was in search of warm delicious food on a late chilly evening with my friend and found it here. Food- Friend ordered the special hakata tonkatsu ramen at the recommendation of our host, where the broth was light but fatty flavorful, and just the right portion. I had the pork cutlet tonkatsu curry, which had great depth of flavor and cutlet was nice and fatty as well as crispy (almost a lil over on the fry). Paired with rice, curry was a nice warm hug. Ordered (2) peach oolong teas, which were refreshing and not too sweet. All together, 2 entrees (with added egg) and 2 drinks came out to a lil over $20 per person without tip-- reasonable. Service- Super friendly, helpful and accommodating. Answered all our questions about the menu. Chef also came out to check on us. Atmosphere- We came in on 9pm on a weekday so it wasn't busy. Lovely music, not too loud and was easy to hold a conversation. It's curious that there are so many branches of Chicago Ramen in this area, but honestly, not complaining. I will definitely be coming back to this location with others and am motivated to try the other branches as well."

"Update. Back for the 2nd night. Love the Jiro Ramen with the really tasty fatty pork. It's so delicious! I am glad I ordered this. My original plan was to try the Beef Curry Ramen, which is what I will order next time (soon) I come back. They were so nice to give us a little taste of the curry, and it IS the best Japanese curry I've had, so far."

"Our friends recommended this place to us so we were excited to try it out, however it didn't quite hit the spot for us. While the soup was tasty, the cha-siu in ramen was pretty mushy, like pressure over-cooked. Next the dipping noodles (tsukemen). Love the wavy noodles and chewy texture, the soup was very oily! Nothing sticks on to the noodles unfortunately. The whole thing with dipping noodles (for me) is for the soup to cling onto it but unfortunately this wasn't the case. The cha-siu rice bowl was pretty good, the rice was a little too moist, might have added a tad too much water in the cooker. Overall we all left a little disappointed and wish our experience could have been different."
