"Katherine and I have been going Next Whiskey Bar (NWB) since it’s inception in Lisle, Illinois. NWB is a gem in the midst of the Lisle and Naperville area and rivals any establishment—especially in Naperville—for the most expansive, rare, and sought after bourbon, rye, and whiskey offerings. The staff has always been friendly, and the bartenders/mixologists have always been happy to create a personalized craft cocktail for us with our spirits of choice along with any further choice ingredients from our corroborative conversation on what we would like to achieve. The food at the NEXT whiskey bar has always been good and it’s honestly only gotten better. At our most recent visit, I got the Shrimp Citrus & Avocado (Greens salad) and it was absolutely delicious!"

"First time here with family! Ordered a burger, medium rare cook, the Asian style salad, hot chicken sandwich with Nashville sauce and lastly the two handled IPA (I believe that’s the title). Burger was spot on, I am a fierce burger eater! The salad was so so tasty especially the peanut butter style sauce, lastly but not least the chicken sandwich was delicious, it’s not your average chicken sandwich, the chicken was fresh with a perfect crisp to it plus the chicken piece was large. The Nashville sauce was overly sweet and was expecting more of a POW of heat and spice. The beer was cold! And served in a stout glass. The atmosphere was a modern whiskey bar with a lot of wooden wall features and gothic style lights hanging from above giving a warm lighting effect to the eye. The musics wasn’t so loud either which was perfect for keeping the room full of talk and laughter. I will say! Price wise…a bit pricey for just two sandwiches and a salad. The Bavarian Lodge down Ogden does serve a burger just as delicious for $12 and salads at $13-14 a piece so as much as I do want to come back the prices are steering me away."

"I really enjoy the food and service. I ha the NWB burger and a salad. For dessert. I had the whiskey, caramel donuts they were fantastic, warm, and fluffy. The service was spot on the staff was very friendly and helpful. The drinks are outstanding and reasonably priced. My only suggestion is the dressing on the salad, tasted like it came out of a bottle from Kraft it really was bad and did not fit in with the quality of your other food. Everything else is hand made goodness but the salad dressing is sub par. Change that out to home made or at least a higher quality.and you have a Michelin star worthy restaurant."

"Stopped by here for lunch with out of town friends. The neighborhood street it sits on is in the downtown area and is very cute giving hallmark vibes. It was a weekday so it was quiet but picked up around the lunch hour. Our waiter was very kind and provided us with his recommendations when asked. They have a large menu with plenty of selections for picky eaters. Food tasted very good, better than I expected. I had chicken and waffles with chips which were delicious. My friend ordered us the whiskey donuts which reminded us of Louisiana beignets. It’s a good size dish that is easily shareable between 3-4 people. I would eat here again and recommend it to friends."
