"This place is pretty cool. It seems that the owners have a lot of pride in the quality of the sushi. It’s all so fresh and is literally prepared right in front of you. The prices are super fair and I promise that you probably won’t find too many places with this quality for these prices. I got tray A and it was only $27 + tax… very fair. The store/restaurant is also pretty cool. It has a super neighborhoody feel. It very clean and they also vary a variety of Asian pops and chips and stuff like that. Staff is very friendly. Parking is street so don’t expect a parking right in front. Some people double park, but I wouldn’t."
"Great spot for picking up beautiful platters of sushi and have a party! Prices are hard to beat and the sushi is really good! Easy to call in your order and pick up, friendly staff. They also have an assortment of snacks to round up your meal! Get your own wasabi since the one on the platter is a little weak. Cash only."
"I love their freshness and small size of rolls. Nigiri is more preferable when you have fresh fish. The menu doesn’t have photo so you will only imagine what the roll size and ingredients in each roll will look like. Overall, I am satisfied every time I visit this place."
"A great place to order from if you’re wanting to get sushi for cheaper than the average place, but still maintaining quality. We ordered 7 pieces of nigiri and 7 rolls for under $60. One of the rolls was missing, but it was close to closing so I wasn’t able to call back about it, but still overall a really great price for the amount and quality."
"An amazing selection, tremendous quality and an incredible value. Akami sushi was smooth and flavorful- a rare find. Super fresh fish to purchase in addition to sushi and maki. If I were going to make one small picky critique it would be that the rice had more flavor."
