"We made our first visit to the new Makki Grill location in Palatine this past weekend. Service was excellent, and the owner was working the counter and was so very helpful in explaining ingredients and preparation of the various dishes. We ordered veggie Samosas, Palak Paneer, Chicken Karahi, plain and garlic Naan - everything was delicious! Makki appears to do a brisk carry-out business in addition to dining-in. In addition to ethnic dishes, Makki has an assortment of burgers and sandwiches along with a kid's menu. They even offer the 'GYM SHOE' sandwich - first time I have seen this South Side Chicago invention on a suburban menu! We will definitely be back!"
"Waited so long for this location to open, it was definitely worth the wait! There is no place like this in the Palatine area that serves Zabiha Halal food. The Food is great, The staff is amazing and easy to talk to. The atmosphere was nice and clean. Definitely recommend going here."
"We went to the new Makki Grill location in Palatine. It was amazing!! The food was so fresh and delicious and the staff was so kind. We wanted to try a variety so we go the Butter Chicken Masala, Naan, Gym Shoe, and Pizza Puffs. The Butter Chicken Masala and Naan were seasoned so beautifully and came out so warm - such a delight on an extremely cold day. We also had never had the Gym Shoe sandwich before and it was a great combo of gyros, with a bbq sauce and mustard along with lettuce etc on a sub bun. Served with really good French fries! We are excited to come back for a fresh, warm meal! Also great music and fun atmosphere."
"We went for their grand opening last Friday, and it was awesome! I loved that there is now good Indian/Pakistani food nearby. The chicken tikka was very tasty and tender! There is a big variety of food from burgers, nuggets, pizza, gyros to Indian dishes. All very tasty!!! Will definitely be back often!"
