"There are a bunch of taco shops in the area, this is one of our go to shops. They have great food and a good variety of tacos. Steak is good. My wife really likes the avocado taco (the sauce is great and it is refreshing). The owners are very nice. One time I was there (it wasn't busy) and I asked him what the chorizo taco is like. He said it was his fav. I asked if I could have a sample. He said it is made to order so he couldn't really give a sample. I said ok ... I understood why. A few minutes later while waiting for my food, he came over with a sample anyway. Nice! BTW the chorizo is my fav now too. There are only a few tables and in winter, cold air blows in. I would also like an extra salsa when we carry out. We'll be back soon."
"This was our first time ordering food from this restaurant. I was super excited because I read the reviews and it seemed like it would be really good. Unfortunately, it wasn't. The tacos I received were flavorless. I had to doctor it up. Then my husband got the Super Nachos and there was hardly any meat or cheese on it. Maybe they had a bad day, I am not sure."
"My visit last night was nothing short of delightful! The ambiance was cozy, and the staff were both attentive and friendly. There was a variety of food and everything I tried was a taste sensation. The combination of fresh ingredients and skillful preparation made for an exceptional dining experience. For sure coming back!!"
"Amazing taco shop in palatine with fresh authentic food. They have options for everyone from meat to veggies and meat free vegan options. I’ll drive from Glenview and back to get carry out! They have a few tables for dining in but can fill up depending on when you go. I’ve been getting the impossible and beyond steak which are a few of their vegan meat free options, both are excellent and perfectly seasoned! Recently got a catering order from them for a family birthday party and it was nothing but perfection! My family was talking about how delicious everything tasted!"
"I was finally able to come in and try taco shop and I'm so glad I did!! The food was amazing! Great amount of steak in our tacos, the cheese in the quesadillas was fabulous and the employees were very nice. We will definitely be back!! Happy taco Tuesday!"
