The Burger Local

"A little finer dining. Atmosphere for this upscale burger bar fits it's minimalist decor with a couple TV's hanging. Staff were really friendly, drinks are heavy syrup and more sugary than needed. Took a couple tries to get them to tone down the syrup in the cocktails. Food was pretty good. The sushi bowl I got was good but swimming in sauces that overwhelmed the dish. I won't order again. The burgers looked great and the onion ring batter is awesome. Ate some of the salad entree and it was legit."

"This place is such a great burger spot! Down town Geneva alone has wonderful places to hang at, but if you're looking for a good burger and great drinks, this place is for you! The food was fantastic, the service was above and beyond, and the atmosphere was exactly what I needed! Laid back, fun, and easy going! Right up my alley! Make sure to try and sit on their little patio too, is so worth it! Can't wait to go back!"

"We found this restaurant while looking at Google Maps one night when we knew we were going to be in the area. Based on the menu and photos it peaked our interest. We made some reservations for a Saturday evening. Fast forward to the ending... FANTASTIC food. Loaded fries were amazing and all of our burgers were even better than expected. I need to go back and try some of the other options as their menu had more food I want to enjoy. Hostess... extremely nice. Wait staff...a bit slow, but it was busy so no big deal. Only complaint... restaurant has a big LOCAL sign behind the bar but I don't think any of the breweries in the 10 mile radius were on tap."

"Awesome selection of burgers. Definitely not a first date kind of meal cause the burgers are juicy and full of messy but tasty toppings! If you are vertically challenged skip the high top tables or your legs might fall asleep! The best part of the French dip burger was the fried leeks--gave it a great flavor and some crunch!"

"Delicious food! There is indoor and outdoor seating as well. I highly recommend the jalapeño poppers as an appetizer. They are homemade and the best I’ve ever had. Their burgers are amazing! I tried a bite of the elotes burger. Yummy toppings and tasted great. Fries were really good too. You can’t go wrong with any of the choices. I also got a fajita bowl and that was great! Healthy and flavorful. The shakes are 10/10 as well. I tried the campfire shake and it tasted delicious. The server was kind and very fast. Food didn’t take long at all. Prices are fairly reasonable too. You must try it you’re in the area!"
