"Do yourself a favor and try this place. If you like Mexican food you will love Honduran food. Food here was freshly made, tasty and prepared with love. So many different and interesting flavors. Homemade Central American food at its best. Owners are awesome and provide a clean, warm, friendly atmosphere. You will not be disappointed!"

"First time coming and we were greeted as we walked in. Waitress was very friendly and gave us a plantain appetizer which was delicious. Plantains were fried with cream and cheese on top. My husband and I ordered baleadas, which were also delicious. Definitely coming back!"
"I want to preface that I am Honduran and of course, I know a taste from "home". If you're reading this review, expect authentic flavor but also, unique to their style. Fresh flour tortillas made by hand, for the baleadas. I also tried the pollo con tajadas, it is the traditional taste from this street style popular dish. I bought the mantequilla (sour cream) and queso (cheese) by the pound, it is delicious. Prices are fair, considering the size of their portions. Also, considering in 1 baleada you can be eating a full meal. My best wishes for this family on entrepreneurs in the McHenry area. P.S: Upgrades are coming soon, per the owners. They are still working out some details. This is just from my interaction with them."
