"It's a McDonald's after all. They placed was clean and service was reasonably quick. However they use the kiosk ordering stations that I hate. I don't need a menu to try and keep selling me something!"
"March 1st at 3:30 pm 2024 The big female with the yellow beat up gloves without fingertips. Worst customer service ever. Went to McDonald’s for a simple order. Their McDonald’s rewards code redeem thing wasn’t working per her. So we asked why would she ask us if we were using our rewards and why did she ask for a code if she knew it wasn’t working. She said she is trained to ask regardless. When we got to the window the first thing she said “you didn’t have to be rude” and shut her window. We went in and spoke to the manager and he said she lied. Their rewards code redeem function was working and ended up comping our food. Bottom line is if you don’t want to work in fast food then get another job. It’s really not that hard. And this isn’t the first bad experience I’ve had there. This, next to the Fox Lake McDonald’s are by far the worst in Lake County."
"Completely incompetent. Out of 16 times this year you have messed up 15. How can you be sooooo horrible. You don't even deserve minimum wage. Next time I will check the food and make sure you can actually make a sandwich and than when wrong chuck it right back at you idiots. Do not come here. Do not come here so not come here. "Service is very fast. They keep the line inside and at the drive thru moving. The iced vanilla coffee could use more cream and sugar. Perhaps the beans are a bit too burnt"
"Slowest McDonald's in Northern Illinois. Do not come here unless you're willing to wait 10+ minutes for any basic beverage and end up disappointed in the end. Drive thru never uses the extra window for longer orders. They make everyone sit behind the long order, end up asking you to order again at the window and then sit at the pickup window for 5+ minutes just for a SINGLE simple beverage. Total time from order to food is a minimum 10 minutes for a beverage, if you're lucky. Wait times can exceed 20 minutes easily, even when they are not busy. Iced coffee is burnt tasting 70% of the time, cup covered in spilled coffee. It's been the same if not worse for over a year... management/bear family, get it together or get out of the business."
