"Used the rear entrance because it was closer to the public parking lot across the street. Interesting floor plan with almost one side of entirely 2 top tables. Food is good not great but there is one exception. Those of you who appreciate onion soup and know how hard it is to find really good let alone exceptional onion soup this is the place. The onion soup there is simply worth the trip by itself. In my 75 years of wandering this earth (55 of those able to understand the difference between good and exceptional) this version is in the top 5. Don't believe me try it and decide for yourself."
"Ventured into St Charles after being away several years. Was amazed to see all the new restaurants. We could not have been more pleased in our choice of The Whiskey Bend(old Pub222). Food was amazing as was the atmosphere. Portions were unbelievable for the price point. And to top it all off our server was very nice and so much fun. We will be back!"

"Had a great first experience at this St. Charles spot! Ordered an old fashion (well prepared, great flavor) with a charcuterie board, and enjoyed their white fish and apple crumble dessert. What sets this restaurant apart is the exceptional service we got from Brie - what a delight. We'll definitely be back!"
