"Update. This team is working hard and getting their act together. Not a fan of their chicken fingers, don't get these here, but everything else is the best!! Original post; Love Popeyes, and this is a new location. Let me tell you, you guys need to get it together. At 1:45 I ordered a classic chicken sandwich with a little extra mayo. Couldn't even pick up the sandwich, I didn't want the whole jar of mayo on it and I have no idea what the hell You guys did to the chicken, but it certainly wasn't anything edible. Threw the whole sandwich out. Now let's talk about two apple pies I ordered. You guys forgot to put the cinnamon sugar on the outside. The mac and cheese was amazing, but hardly any noodles, just a lot of cheese soup. Mango lemonade really good. I did call the store and ask if you weren't doing the cinnamon sugar anymore and she said yes they were and apologized and offered to give me two more pies. And she was very nice. First impressions very important, otherwise you're going to lose a lot of customers fast. I was super excited about this location since it's close to my house I to go by here everyday."
"This particular Popeye's location is owned by a bad franchisee. I go to many Popeye's locations in the area and the pricing is considerably higher here than the other locations around the area. Meals here at the Geneva, IL location are $2-$3 dollars more than the exact same meals at the surrounding locations I go to (Elgin and West Chicago, IL). This location also lacks a number of the combos/meals that the other locations around the are have. I've noticed either the franchisee/owner or the manager just sitting at a corner booth just staring at customers in the restaurant. I won't be returning to this location."
