"We will never use this pharmacy again. Every time we attempt to fill a prescription or pick up a prescription, there is a problem. This was the last straw. My 17 year old daughter attempted to pick up her antibiotics at 5:50 from the East 53rd location. As usual, there was something wrong with insurance and my daughter was informed by the pharmacy technician that she either needed to pay cash for her medication or use GoodRX. After briefly speaking with my daughter and informing her and the pharmacy technician that I would be transferring money into her account so that she could get her medication, my daughter called me in tears at 5:58 stating that the pharmacist had to go and shut the gate on her. She was waiting in front of the cash register waiting to pay for her medication and he closed the door two minutes earlier then the time they were supposed to close, leaving her without her medication for the weekend and extremely ill. Assisting her with her medication would have taken him two minutes and he still would have been able to close on time. To think that someone with such a lack of compassion and customer care is handling your medications you require for your health should terrify you. Come Monday we will be transferring pharmacies and will not be returning back to Walgreens. They've had so many chances to get it right and they continue to fail each and every time. Good riddance!"
