"I LOVE TALBOTS!!! This was like my first retail job and I really enjoyed working with my coworkers. Although I did encounter some that were not that friendly. I really felt comfortable here for the most part and I offered excellent customer service!!! Working here was definitely worth it!!! I even sold lots of Talbots credit cards and was recognized for selling the most!! I miss this job a lot but I had to move on. I even met one of my first boyfriends here!!! Great place to work and build relationships!! Beautiful clothing, although pricy, still worth it!!!"
"I have had mixed experiences with this store but I recently had an awesome experience. I selected a dress to try on and the sales associate told me that she loves the dress but not many women were giving it a chance. I was ambivalent. I liked the style but was uncertain about the color. As I was trying it on, the associate checked in with me and asked me how it was working. I happened to have it on and she politely asked me if I would like her opinion. Sure. Why not? I came out of the dressing room, she looked at me, and she told me that she thought the color washed me out. She was absolutely right. I wanted to like the dress but in my heart, I knew that it didn't work. I thanked her for her honesty and she joked that she could get fired for telling me that the dress didn't work for me. Au contraire, Talbots. I will come back to this store and seek out this sales woman. My loyalty to the Talbots brand INCREASED as a result of this interaction."
