Ross Dress for Less

"Came if to exchange an item. Yvete (Manager on duty) right away said tags did not match item. I explained to her I had just bought these. She claimed they have to check cameras even though reciept was in her hand. After I told her check cameras please she said come back in morning. I told her I cannot due to work she said then there is nothing I can do. When I asked for somebody else she started yelling saying they were too busy to deal with me. I told her im a paying customer and I need help and eill not toerate being called a thief or liar and for her to check cameras. She started yelling and threatening me and cursing at me. I told her to give me a manager above her she claimed call 800 ross number and told me to leave. I found another manager and the other manager did not want to wcknowledge he temployee but kept saying this always happens and they cannot say anything to Yvete and then proceeded telling me its a black and white issue! This is awful."

"Store is always a mess, cashiers have got to be trained to be the most unfriendly people possible-- said hello and thank you after my transaction and not a single word from the cashier except blank eye contact."

"Not a huge selection. Lots of items on the floor, shoes are all mixed up with other different sizes, so it's just a mess. Took of 3 stars because there isn't any open fitting rooms, which is a problem considering if you like something, you have to buy it and if it doesn't fit then you have to drive all the way back to the store to return it and these gas prices are a joke. Other than that... Out of 7 cashier stations only 1 was open so you spent another 20 min or longer just in the line. Maybe after they open their fitting rooms I'll consider coming back to shop."

"I went about a week after they opened back up, and they were about 75% cleared out. I found some great items, but lines were insanely long and still only 2 cashiers. No one enforcing 6ft spacing in line, so you're on your own for that. Still love Ross though, can't beat the deals."

"Great location compared to others that I have been to. Located right off of 75th and Lemont in Darien. It is in the same lobby as Home Run Inn, Chase, Salvation Army, a furniture store and a bakery. The employees are friendly and the store itself is well put together and organized. There is a lot of seasonal fall decor out right now with excellent prices. Huge selection of winter coats and jackets for women as well."
