Starbucks

"To set scene: 22degrees, wind, blowing snow. Time:5:30 am Monday 12/18/23. They are supposed to be open. Us - two old people took LYFT and let out at the Starbucks door - because we were waiting for Duly Healthcare to open which is down the street. Three people including manager ignored us as we began knocking on windows- like WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO LET US IN. One person just standing there! Could have just let us into the vestibule until they were ready. But completely uncaring!!! Here’s photo of manager unlocking door at like 5:45 am"

"This was one of the best experiences that I've ever had at Starbucks. Marco is a superstar and he should be recognized. He greeted me as I walked in and took my order. That wait was short and then he handed me my drinks. That's when I realized I had mistakenly ordered the brown sugar oatmilk espresso but iced. I explained to Marco I wanted the hot version of this drink. He patiently explained to me that they don't have the hot version of that. He then asked if I wanted him to create a customized hot version of it and of course, I said yes. It was the best coffee I've ever had at Starbucks and I wish I had gotten the drink order because that's how I want my coffee made from here on out. Thanks Marco!"

"The crew here is consistently rude in my experience. As Starbucks is now essentially McDonald's quality, it likely won't impact the drink/food but the store would benefit from some additional training in customer service."

"I'm pretty sad the woman working the window this morning was incredibly rude and unpleasant. I've enjoyed coming to this location multiple times a week for the last year. I placed an order a few minutes ahead and when I arrived there was no one in line and no one in the parking lot. I decided to pull up to the order window and let them know I was there. A guy answered and said it would be a few minutes. I said that's totally fine, I can wait as there was still no one in line. When I pulled up, a woman handed me my drink and aggressively said "you need to wait 5-10 minutes before you get in line". Well since there was no line, I said "I'm sorry, sometimes my experience depends with this location. My order comes out very fast and it sits there." Then, even more aggressive, she says, "no, it's pretty standard" and shuts the window. When she came back with my food order, she said, "here's your food" and again shuts the window. I completely understand that it can be frustrating to have customers arrive and wait before their food is ready if the location is busy, but it costs nothing to speak to people nicely, especially in the service industry. Also, after I pulled away from the window and looked at my order screen, I did in fact place my order 5 minutes prior to pulling through the drive through. After I pulled away, I thought "am I crazy or was that such an awful experience." I see a similar review from 5 days ago so maybe I am not crazy after all."

"This is one of my favorite locations. They always take the time to make my experience personal, and to make sure my drink is correct. It has a few of these comfy chairs, which I always take advantage of, and the WiFi is strong. Two barsitas, Bea and Nick, always make you feel welcome, and valued. The store manager runs a good team here, and I always have a great experience."
