"I haven’t had biscuit gravy this good in 20yrs, not since I left Kentucky!! We stopped here randomly for breakfast because we were in the area and it met so many expectations! The hash browns were cooked well, crispy on one side so delicious. The bacon was a perfect crisp but not over done. The food came out within like 10 mins of ordering, it was amazingly fast! And their regular iced coffee was just a morning delight! It’s a light to medium roast blend, perfect with just a touch of cream! Our server was extremely attentive and very friendly! I’m so glad we stopped in! 10/10 highly recommend!"

"While traveling, we missed breakfast in our hotel, so we gave this place a try. FANTASTIC!! Great service, reasonable prices, very spacious and DELICIOUS food. I had the country omelette and my son had ham, egg and cheese on an everything bagel. Definitely worth a visit."

"I travel a lot and come here as much as I can when I’m not working. This place has a great selection for lunch. Well I guess that changed. The sign out front says Breakfast & Lunch and so does all the websites. I was shocked to find out they don’t serve lunch anymore. They could at least changed it all instead of just the menu. It’s been like this for 4+ months is what I was told. On the other hand my waitress was great and super apologetic for not serving lunch anymore. She talked me into staying and ordering some breakfast. I got the French toast combo with strawberries. Well I hope they reconsider bringing lunch back or changing all the signage. It’s false advertisement really."

"Just what we've been looking for! The menu is excellent, with a variety of options including non-pork meats. This is a factor that determines whether or not we will return, as we don't eat pork. The place was packed, but our party of 6 was seated quickly. The coffee and tea were hot and fresh. Nikoll's service was outstanding. The food was absolutely, positively delicious. All around and excellent place to eat!"

"We were looking for a good, Sunday morning breakfast spot, and Golden Oak Pancake House was exactly what we wanted. It was pretty busy, but he dining room is fairly large and seats a lot of folks. We had actually just left another breakfast place not far away because the weight was too long. When we got to Golden Oak, in spite of the number of people there, we only waited about 5 to 10 minutes. Additionally, service is extremely fast. For being as busy as they were, they were very attentive, and it didn't take long before we had our food. And the food is absolutely wonderful. Really great diner style breakfasts. Top notch breakfast joint!"
