Ann Taylor Factory Store

"Just stopped by yesterday, and they had a great selection of clothes. It appeared understaffed, and the staff members there seemed stretched thin. Other than this, the store was excellent."

"I had the worst experience of my life at this store. One of the employees yelled at me coz I was unfolding couple of T-shirts to check if they would fit me, and this employee who didn't have a name tag on her kept asking me “ Are you gonna take it” while folding behind me. When I finally chose couple of T-shirts from that area, and going towards the counter to check out she again asked me “ Are you gonna take it”, I said yes(thank god I said yes, if I would have said no, she would have literally hit me, that's how aggressive she was) but then she again yelled at me saying “ You made a mess over here”. I was shocked to hear that. I felt so humiliated, everyone in the store could hear her. I just unfolded 3 t shirts and picked 2 of the t shirts to buy, and she said I was making a mess over there. Btw, isn't that one of her job duties to fold clothes in a clothing store? She literally then followed me to the counter and kept saying I made a mess over there. Oh my God! She was so scary. The other employees seemed to be scared of her as well so they didn't say anything. She is a latino, was wearing a mask, and is on the heavier side. She is not supposed to be in a customer service job if she does not know the basics of customer service. I immediately called customer service after getting out of the store, but I don't think they will do anything about it, coz I could see other people’s bad reviews and they also had the same experience as me with the same employee 2 months ago but they did nothing. I have been their loyal customer for so many years but after this I would never go back to Ann Taylor ever. Ann Taylor, sorry to say you are losing out on your loyal customers because of this ONE employee."

"My experience in the store was horrible; one of the employees yelled at me because I unfolded some clothes to see them better, isn't that what customers are supposed to do in a clothing store? The employee got very close to me. I felt threatened and humiliated. I thought she was going to hit me, she seemed crazy, the other employees did nothing, they seemed afraid of that woman as well. I don't know the employee’s name. All I can say is that for future customers to be careful next time they shop at this store. This is a brief description of the woman. She is a heavy, Latina woman with black hair. Lastly, I had shopped at this store before and never had such a horrific experience. I don't know how the store ‘Ann Taylor’ allows such employees to work for them. Her behavior is causing customers like me never to come back to the store."
