"I was amazed at how nice this place was. My wife picked it because the Italian place we go to was closed. Very glad she picked this place. It was very nice. We had amazing service or waitress was very nice kept checking back on us. The bread they have is amazing the waitress said that they actually make it in house. The pasta was delicious. I have not one complaint about this place. I would be more than happy to go back. Prices are very fair also. All around great place to go eat. Would recommend it to anyone."
"Staying for a few days in Alton and found this great restaurant. Atmosphere is cozy. Our waiter Leo was super attentive, professional and friendly. Food came out quickly, generous portions, really good prices. The sauces were perfect, salads were fresh, appetizers tasty and crispy, ribeye cooked perfectly medium rare just like I like it with good seasoning and very tender. My martini was on point. Leo and then the owner anticipated our every need. If we are in Alton again, this would be our go to place. We loved it!"
"Everything was fantastic until the steak came out to the table. I ordered a 12oz New York with mixed fresh vegetables, The steak looked and tasted amazing, The vegetables were from the freezer, mixed medley of frozen vegetables is hardly what I expect when going to a sit down restaurant. Lift your game, you don't go to a nice sit down restaurant to be severed vegetables that you bought frozen. I quietly approached the server about this and he even agreed that the vegetables were not great."
"Santinos is always a great time, with good food and an outstanding staff. Me, my mom, and sister go to celebrate our birthdays every year. Mr. Santino and his staff always remember us and treat us like family. This past weekend, we celebrated my mom's birthday."
"Absolutely delicious!!! The owner and staff were very friendly, lots of good dishes. I definitely recommend the fettuccine Alfredo . The bread was great, and the atmosphere was very nice. Prices were decent, but I can't complain at all. It was a great place for a date night."
