"The stores amazing, has been our go to for years. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about their bakery. I pre-ordered a Barbie cake a month in advance for my daughter’s birthday party. I called to confirm twice, on the day of, there was no cake, no knowledge of what happened, and that’s just ridiculous. Every parent’s dream is to make their birthday party’s as memorable as possible and it sucks when someone doesn’t come through with plans."
"Meijer is the place to go if you don't have a super target, and are sick and tired of paying the prices for groceries at Tony's or Jewel. It's quite convenient too considering you can get normal groceries, but they also have a clothing dept, show dept, electronics dept, a pretty impressive beauty and cosmetics section, as well as a great area for automotive products, and on the off chance you're there to pick up some cereal and milk and you think to yourself, "I'd like to buy a fish tank and live fish today," you're covered!! The meat dept also offers a large variety of different and harder to find cuts of meat (brisket, tri-tip, NY strip ROASTS, etc)"
"Usually enjoy this place but one worker had me absolutely upset by the end of it. I believe her name is Carlita? She talked down to me several times when I was asking a question as spoke to me as if I was dumb and not understanding. Rolled her eyes at me and scoffed when she finally understood me like I was being an issue when I was only one there later at night. I didn’t do anything wrong to her and I don’t know why she was in such a bad mood but she shouldn’t be talking to people like they’re stupid and repeating a wrong answer to make herself feel higher especially since I’m already handicapped and lower."
"Jacob (the door guy at the Oswego Meijer) won't help out us disabled visitors when he's asked. He will just ignore your request for assistance like you don't even exist. I asked him for his help three different times & he just ignored this disabled veteran."
"Rick the manager is phenomenal with customer service. I had to do a return that was tricky, and he resolved it no problem. However, Pam at the customer service desk really should not be in customer service at all. She reminded me of a teacher that was so strict and reprimanding for no good reason; she forgets that life happens and sometimes we don’t always have it together. Please work on giving customers grace, otherwise there won’t be any customers for this store."
