"Amazing little coffee shop in downtown Elgin. The vibes remind me of being in a small town! They make sure everything is perfection for you when ordering. The coffee packs a punch with good flavor which tells ya they are for-real. I’ll be back for another cup whenever I’m around town."

"Been here multiple times. I really like this place. I came here one day with my mother and girlfriend after Black Friday shopping. I was in the mood for coffee. I tried the Matcha latte. It was so good. My mom got a Carmel latte. That was very good as well. Prices are affordable and reasonable for the quality and taste of the food/drinks. Their monkey bread and croissants are delicious. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Good and large variety of coffees and other drinks. Nice food options. Interior is colorful, unique, very nice. Atmosphere is wonderful and very inviting. Bathrooms are kept clean and nice as well. I've been coming back here ever since. Overall, this is just a really great place. Everything about it is wonderful. I really don’t have any complaints. Would definitely recommend :)"

"Coming in I was kindly greeted. I had an amazing hot lavender latte and a large warm cinnamon role. Both were absolutely delicious! The ambience was lovely - would definitely come back again"

"Cute, locally run and owned Coffee Shop with delicious Pastries. Very reasonable prices considering what breakfasts costs at a commercial coffee house. They have all kinds of coffee options, including ice coffee blended in a cocktail shaker. All of Sugar & Rhymes pastries and dessert options are delicious, but the Croissants are to die for. I've had chocolate, ham & cheese and plain butter. The almond must be just as delicious, because they're always sold out by the time I get there. Next time, I'll call and do an order ahead a few days in advance. They also will wrap up your pastries (or coffee) to go, with instructions on how to reheat and not burn them in your own oven. Slightly burned they're still delicious. A word of warning, they're so big they don't fit in all toaster ovens."
