"I lived at sandpiper for a year and i really really liked it. The apartments are renovated nicely (marble countertop, wood floors, gas stove) and the property manager super responsive. She’s also quite professional and that’s rare in student housing. There’s street parking that’s usually pretty open and when i lived there i got a parking spot that came with the apartment so that was nice. There is a gas station in walking distance and cabo bobs/ sip pho so that’s nice too. There was also a resident group me which was nice to ask about deliveries, parking etc. The place is also pretty quiet and nobody really bothers you if you know what i mean. Idk i had no bad experiences with it really other than it is an older building and sometimes things broke- like my ceiling randomly leaked - but the property manager had it fixed quickly with good communication. It’s like a 20-30 minute walk to campus (1mile) but the bus is like 5 minutes away. The only thing is that when you type sandpiper into apple maps randomly it doesn’t pop up so you have to type the address. Also delivery people get super mixed up with sandpiper and camino flats one street over. Oh yeah and there’s stray cats that are so cute and friendly that you can pet and feed. But if you don’t like cats it shouldn’t be a deal breaker because if they don’t know you they will run away as soon as they see you so you don’t have to interact. I also like the layout of the apartment and basically no matter the angle you’ll get natural light. Yeah so basically would highly recommend :)"
