"How can you trust a review from someone who has only toured the apartment? Of course they're going to be nice and pull out all the stops - they're trying to sell to you! My experience at Griffis Soco has been subpar and that's putting it as nicely as I can. I understand there are issues at all complexes, but communication is extremely lacking in multiple instances where they take more than 48 hours, sometimes up to 5 days, to respond and also reject community posts or inquiries without any warning or reason as to why. Some poor communication examples: -broken mailbox - minimal to no communication on timeline or where to get mail - I had to tell multiple neighbors we had to go to the post office (huge pain and long wait times!! One neighbor had to take off work when he wanted to check his mail) -timeline on gate and communication regarding the road rage incident -multiple car break ins and thefts -transients in the back pool -failed to tell me about renewal incentives, had to ask then was denied because "I didn't renew in time" even though I was never told Other issues - Must enroll in $10 fetch package service which is a complete waste of money - Valet trash doesn't come consistently - Neighbors don't pick up poop (front staff does nothing to address this) - Litter constantly strewn about complex - Bathtub has poor drainage, water stands at the bottom of the tub and makes the coating peel. I've had it fixed once already and it's started to peel again. I also renewed my lease, similar to another resident, and then discovered it being listed online for 300$ less/month than what I renewed for. I'm now stuck at this ridiculously high rate ($ 1731/mo) until Oct. 2024. The only good thing about the complex is maintenance. They are courteous and kind, respond quickly and clean up afterwards."

"This place is a joke. They raised my rent $50 but when I went online to look at apartments available they had the same apartment for $300 less. I sent them a screenshot on it and I was told they would look into it. Two weeks later I was offered the same rate I was paying and a free "bathtub cleaning." Market rate is always the excuse they give but in my search of apartments in the area market value is well below what they offered me and even what they are offeirng online. You'd think these were luxury apartments with their prices. Luckily for me I found a much better place, brand new apartment with a garage for much less. Better amenities as well. Ashley was no help at all. Diego did his best and kept in contact via phone but his hands were tied. I expalined to Diego that I felt discriminated against wanted out of my lease. He said he would explain that to Ashly and less than 24 hours later her response was an email basically telling me to go screw myself. Stay away from this place. You can find a much better place in the area. And please save yourself the generic, canned email response Griffis. I don't care to hear it. If you have anything to say in response you have my apartment number, email, and phone number."

"I went for a tour a couple of weeks ago and I fell in love with the place! Sergio was able to answer all of our questions during the tour and helped out answering all my questions via email after I applied for an apartment. Even though it was a very hot day the day I toured Sergio had a very good attitude and showed us around all the amenities and sections of the community we wanted to visit. He has been really helpful through the process of renting my first apartment and I really appreciate it."

"Griffis SoCo is a nice and competitively priced apartment complex and property in South Austin. It has a lot of good food and drink options in close vicinity and it's also close to most main, local attractions. The staff is all very helpful but I specifically want to shout out Pedro in the maintenance department! From move in to renewing my lease now a year later, Pedro has quickly, professionally and friendly helped me immediately address and fix any and all housekeeping issues I've thrown at him like drywall and washers & electronics. Thank you to Griffis SoCo and to Pedro specifically for resolving situations as quickly as possible!"

"I worked with Sergio Hernandez to secure our new apartment. Sergio was great - friendly, responsive and knowledgeable! I had lots of questions and he was able to provide detailed answers to all of them. The property looks beautiful and we will be moving into our new apartment soon! I will provide another update after living in the community for a while. I'm looking forward to living here!"
