"Is there any chance that we end our lease to this apartment? The reason is: there’s a lot of cockroaches, eggs of insects and the unending smell of the WEED?! And you want us to stay here by finishing our contract, but if not we need to pay more than 12k? We are stressful in our condition. We have collapsed lung patient and we need to move immediately but you want us to stay longer? Please… give us a chance"

"I’ve been living here for about 6 months and noticed they’ve made some improvements throughout my stay via plumbing, gates actually being functional, and adding more days too valet laundry. Love the valet laundry service they provide for a small fee as I have an injury from a car accident. They pick up and deliver to your door but you also have the option of having your laundry picked up and dropped off at the laundry room lockers which come with a numerical key for your specific lockers. Laundry always comes out very nicely folded and I noticed clothes come out smelling cleaner than the communal laundry machines which also cost a fee. I have used the laundry facility before, it’s not bad I just wish they would consistently clean and Clorox the machines as a lot of the tenants have pets and you can literally see the pet hair and smell the odor sometimes. People also forget, or purposely forget, to leave the doors open to the washers so that they can properly ventilate even though theirs noticeable signage saying to leave washer doors open. Love the pool, used it everyday during the summer and from what I could tell was decent. My biggest complaint is the locks on the doors. I’m 100% sure my apartment has been broken into a couple times, I told the apartment complex and all they could offer was that I move units for a fee. Considering the gates and public facilities entrances are opened via an app they should try and upgrade the locks on the doors to something similar instead of a physical key just to have everything on one application. About a week after I moved in they dropped the rent prices by about $400 on their website and I contacted the property staff to see if there was anything I could do to get that price. I was told it was only for certain units and could not switch units because of the terms of the contract. I’m still paying way more than most of the tenants and I take care of my apartment on a regular basis aka cleaning, not smoking indoors, etc. For the amount of money I’m paying rent, I would not recommend this apartment complex because they don’t actually follow through with a lot of the policies like trying to enforce non smoking policies. They don’t actually do any inspections for these specific things but considering the rent drop I really don’t think it matters as much to the apartment complex. Never had any issues with maintenance requests other than the fact that pest control doesn’t like to leave notes or any signage stating my studio has been sprayed. With maintenance request you can typically tell right away if the problem was fixed and it typically is because they do leave paperwork and the problem is fixed. Other than that, I feel like this place is perfect for single people or couples without pets. These studios were not built for pets or full sized families the rooms are just way too small. Other than that the staff is friendly and they do host parties for the holidays."

"The roaches, the roaches, and the ROACHES. They pretty much own this complex there’s no escaping them. Ventilation is terrible here as well. They advise you to turn on the bathroom fan or the microwave vent but that’s not going to help a whole studio apartment. I had mold on all my utensils that were in the drawer. The fridge/freezer never kept my food at a stagnant temperature so I consistently had to throw my food away. Gates are always broken so people wonder through the parking lot at night. There’s also no lights in the parking lot when it’s dark. As a young woman this made me extremely paranoid because I couldn’t see anything! Only plus about this place is the access to I35 and 183. If you’re okay w pests, mold, and sleeping in a sweaty drywall box then this is the place to be! I’d advise you to go somewhere worth your money. It’s disgusting here. Ps. I’m on a burner account bc I’m so embarrassed I even lived here."

"Centro is the worst apartment I have ever lived at!!! 6/7 of my car windows got busted and all my plants got stolen off my front porch and the property managers did nothing. Also when it was time to move out they charged me for paint peeling of the wall when there is no ventilation in the bathroom that was causing the problem.. There was mold in my apartment and it took them over 2 weeks last fall to fix my air conditioner when it went out.. I’m not done!! Also the upstairs neighbors water was leaking through my walls and caused my outlet to.explode and sparks went everywhere which is a safety violation…. PLS I BEG YOU save yourself do not I repeat do not move in here it’s like living in hell"
