"I lived here for about 2 years from August 2020 - July 2022. The apartments themselves are pretty good for their age. Theres blemishes here and there but I’d say they’re in good condition. They have Google Fiber which is amazing. The management company is great too and has great communication to its residents. Shawn goes above and beyond to make sure all your needs are met and is always very quick to respond to any questions you may have. My only complaint about this place is not the place itself but the surrounding area. The open field behind the parking lot has become a homeless village. There is a constant presence of homeless streaming in and out of the field and walking through the parking lot next to our cars to access their area. Most of them don’t cause any trouble but there are some bad eggs in the bunch. Several times I’d be woken up at night by people (presumably tweaking) arguing or screaming at each other. At first, there were problems of homeless making their way inside the complex and committing several acts of crime (car break ins, laundry stolen from laundry room) but the management company has added coded gates to all points of entry to help with the problem. Although this problem exists, it should be noted that the complex is taking the correct steps to ensure the safety of its residents and making the proper changes to the community. If not for this problem, I would give Burl South 5 stars. This is a very small community with great neighbors and a very comfortable home feel. I would recommend living here to anyone."

"I really love this apartment complex. It's a nice, small community with a convenient location. The layout is great and the pool is always clean. I don't need maintenance work often but whenever I do, they are always quick to fix the problem. The apartment manager is extremely professional. And the price is very fair for the area."

"I love Burl South and couldn't recommend it more. I've lived here for about 3 years and plan on signing a lease for the upcoming 4th year. The maintenance staff is amazing, so friendly, and generally get to your request within a day. Only on rare occasions or holidays has it taken more than 1 business day to complete a maintenance request. The pool is always the perfect temperature and the little courtyard can be so picturesque. I love how small this apartment community is as I've lived in huge complexes before and it was always a nightmare. Somehow all our neighbors are always so kind and interesting! Additionally the property manager, Shawn, is so nice and helpful. I work in housing and know how terrible property management can treat tenants but I can assure you Shawn is respectful and takes what you say seriously. It's very refreshing, actually."
