"Applied in November and had to pay a deposit along with my application fee. Nobody got in touch with me so I applied for and got into another apartment complex. I requested my deposit be refunded to me and it's now been almost 4 months. Nobody will return a call regarding the issue and I still haven't received my refund."

"I do not recommend. I pay my rent on time and some how they tell me I owe money when I don’t. I’m not understanding what’s going on! I’ve only been here for 6 months and they wanna play games with me."

"It’s says share details of my experience her .. well my experience has been awful I’ve moved in , in 2019 & thank god I’m moving out since I’ve been theee the rent has went up & I dnt understand for what they never answer their phones they dnt want fix nothing replace nothing clean up anything . The drug activity is extremely high I live literally on a corner apartment across the street from the project the project are cleaner then these apartment better to live at then these apartments ppl always by the gate hanging out leaving beer cans and do all kinds of things I done seen Mexicans messing w woman out side I done seen ppl do drugs out side on the stairs I’ve seen it all homeless is at an extreme high the complex is so dirty there is literally one way in and one way out even tho they got multiple gates .. my refrigerator needed to be replaced years ago never replaced it a car ran into my apartment they fixed the out side not the inside water damage from the roof leaking I can go on and on and on they don’t like to do nothing about anything but want to keep pushing the rent up I was tired of coming home from work and ppl asking me for money or food and the laundry room always locked water heater always broken jus a bad experience thank god I’m moving only god has helped me thru all this they wanted to charge me to change my locks even tho I told them I’m a victim of domestic violence. I dnt recommend this place to anyone"

"Please do not trust all the glowing fake reviews posted in the past two months!! I lived at this complex from June 2019 to Feburary 2023. For half of that, I didn't have regular warm running water. The last six months I was there, the entire building C was infested with bedbugs, half the residents had no warm water at all, and the rain poured through my ceiling because the complex refused to do repairs. My ceilings were full of black mold by the time anything was done about the leaks. Insult to injury, instead of answering my questions about my "final bill," they deleted my messaging portal and turned me into collections. For shame. I will do everything in my power to let people know about this place now that I am safely done with them. The office is staffed by absolute monsters who don't see the residents as people. I only lived here because the alternative was the streets."

"I have heard that the Palms of North Lamar apartments is NOT a great paradise to live at despite the sheer deceptions of images shown on their website. All that falsely beautiful once apartment buildings years ago, now all old-run-down & hideously poorly maintained for high rent monthly price! I heard that the management there are not professional & dishonest to the tenants. Outside of the surrounding community is also very bad with infested crime rates there & mild law enforcement getting involved here & there. The interior décor needs to be remodeled or improved, no hot water in shower/bath, no forms of events, no security improvement, & no proper establishments! I wish the management would really demonstrate value to the entire complex property! I would not recommend living there, move to the north, northwest side of Austin. Period!"
